Introducing T. Michael Manchester
ARCHITECTURE: The Art and Science of creating a special place
for out clients to live, love and be with their families.
“I bought my first drawing board when I was in 7th grade in a small
school outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Later I spent about six years
in the Sonoram Desert at Arizona State University – more than thirty years ago I was studying Solar Technologies in Architecture. I moved to the Aspen area in 1977 to do architecture (and I did learn how to ski!).
On Valentine’s Day in 1984, I opened the doors to T. Michael Manchester Associates, Inc. I was committed to the conept that providing a very high quality product along with very high quality service would allow me to do what I love for a long time.
I was right. And after almost 25 years, I am still here doing what I love and believe in for many fabulous people who love and appreciate what we do for them. It is quite rewarding to be doing the second or third project for my clients and friends.
In my spare time, I tried to give back to my community that gave me so much. I was on the Planning Commission for 8 years and the Snowmass Village Town Council for 10 years – the last six of which I was Mayor. These days, my involvement is less obvious.
In the sort term, our contributions are clear – creating great architecture for our clients to enjoy.
In the long term, we create great value in our homes for generations to come.”
